Firefighters battle huge factory blaze in Karachi
Ten fire tenders are taking part in the fire-fighting operation that is underway.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A fire that erupted in a foam factory near a site area at Zia Chowk in Karachi on Thursday morning has intensified.
As per details provided by the rescue officials, ten fire tenders, one snorkel and a water bowser are taking part in the operation to extinguish the fire.
The police and ambulances have also reached the spot to assist the operation.
However, one part of the building has been collapsed while dense fumes of smoke have covered the sky. No loss of life has been reported so far.
Factory workers said the fire broke out before their arrival at the building.
The cause of the blaze is not known yet.
