ECP allots 'jeep' symbol to Chaudhry Nisar
Nisar had asked for the allotment of 'jeep' symbol.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday has allotted the symbol of ‘jeep’ to estranged PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar.
His lawyer had submitted a plea to Returning Officer (RO) which adopted stance that Nisar is contesting election from NA-59 and 63 and Punjab assembly’s constituencies 10 and 12 as an independent candidate.
He had asked for the allotment of ‘jeep’ symbol.
RO Shabrez Akhtar Raja and Najeebullah while accepting Nisar’s plea allotted him the requested symbol.
