NAB to move Interpol for Hassan, Hussain and Dar's extradition

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Amid concluding proceedings of Avenfield reference, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is mulling over legal repatriation of Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz through Interpol.
Well-informed sources further told our correspondent that the anti-graft watchdog would also begin action for extradition of former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Ali Imran.
As per details garnered, NAB would formally pen letter to interior ministry to bring aforementioned absconders.
On the other hand, NAB has also requested interior ministry to put Punjab government secretaries Ali Jan and Najam Shah on Exit Control List (ECL)
The anti-corruption watchdog has also recommended to place names of Punjab government secretaries Ali Jan and Najam Shah on the ECL.
It is worth here to mention that jurisdiction to bring anyone back to country through Interpol rests with interior ministry.
