Vehari: Foolproof security to be ensured during elections, assures DC
DC visited Government Boys College and University of Education to examine training session.
VEHARI (APP) - Deputy Commissioner (DC) Irfan Ali Kathiya on Monday said that foolproof security arrangements would be ensured at all polling stations for free and fair election.
Presiding over a meeting with assistant returning officers (AROs) to review arrangements for general election 2018 here, he said that there would be exemplary cooperation with the Election Commission regarding election.
He said that tight security arrangements would be ensured at all polling stations and CCTV cameras would be installed at sensitive polling stations. He said that facility of transport had been provided to all AROs. He asked them to cooperate with returning officers in order to conduct free and fair election.
Later, he visited Government Boys College and University of Education to examine training session of presiding officers organized by the Election Commission of Pakistan. He said that strict action would be taken against the presiding officers over absence from training session.
