Election 2018: Now PTI takes U-turns on awarding party tickets

PTI has changed candidates of several national and provincial assembly constituencies.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), known for taking U-turns so rapidly, has changed candidates of several national and provincial assembly constituencies and took U-turns in awarding party tickets to its candidates for the upcoming general elections, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

According to details, PTI has decided to take back party tickets awarded to Jatt family from Vehari. PTI had awarded party ticket to Ayesha Nazir Jatt from National Assembly constituency NA-162 but now Khalid Chohan has been nominated to replace her while Humayun Iftikhar has replaced Nazir Jatt on provincial assembly constituency PP-229.

Another U-turn was taken in Multan where party ticket awarded to Sikandar Bosan for NA-154 has been taken back. The story was repeated in NA-174-Sialkot where Ghulam Abbas replaced Barrister Mansoor.

PTI has also changed the candidate of NA-80-Gujranwala where Sadiq Mehar has replaced Khawaja Saleh while Chaudhry Muhammad Ali has been given party ticket from PP-57 to replace Nauman Chattha.
