CJP pays visit to Larkana
he obtained the stock of overall performance of district courts and prosecution services
Dunya News- Today (Saturday), Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has visited the District Court, Lockup, and different hospitals in Sindh; and taken notice of too much and impromptu lead shedding in hospitals.
During his visit to government hospital Sukkur, Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana and Sheikh Zayed Women s Hospital, directing WAPDA to free hospitals from load shedding.
Erstwhile, he obtained the stock of overall performance of district courts and prosecution services during his visit to District Courts.
To ensure the speedy justice, he ordered judges at district courts to decide law suits prompt in accordance to law.
Mian Saqib Nisar asked Chief Justice of Sindh High Court and Registrar to take action against criminals and incompetent judges in accordance with law.
After visiting lockup, CJP said in a gathering the main purpose of judiciary is to provide justice and protection of Human Rights.
Mian Saqib Nisar said criticism could be made on the reasoning of decisions but not against judges.
He lamented that political cases in High Courts and supreme have been delaying justice in cases of Public for several years.
However, taking cognizance of the issue, the Chief Justice summoned the DG Rangers Sindh, provincial Inspector General Police, and provincial heads of IB, ISI and MI at Supreme Court Karachi Registry tomorrow (Sunday).
