Summary On Sunday, People in large numbers are seen at Karachi and Lahore railway stations.

(WebDesk) Eid ul fitr is the most illustrious and jubilant fiesta in Pakistan. People living far from their hometowns for work, education and for any other reason, impatiently haed towards the bus stations, railway stations and airports to secure their seats to reach to their loved ones during the last days of Ramzan.

To celebrate Eid among the family and friends in their customary way, commuters have started taking journeys to arrive to their own soil.

On Sunday, People in large numbers are seen at Karachi and Lahore railway stations, to leave for their hometowns to enjoy the forthcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays with their near ones.

Meanwhile, to facilitate maximum people to run to their families, Pakistan railways earlier in June, announced special Eid Package for the Eid Commuters.

The package includes:
30% discount on rail fares
Five special trains to run between Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi

According to available details:

The first special Eid train will depart from Karachi on June 12 and will reach Peshawar Cantt on the next day at 10 pm.
The second train will depart from Quetta on June 12 and while crossing Multan Cantt, Khanewal and Lahore, will reach Rawalpindi next day at 8 pm.
The third train will depart from Karachi Cantt on June 13 and will arrive at Lahore at 10 am on the next day.
The fourth train will depart on June 14 from Rawalpindi via Attock City, Dao Khail, Kot Addu and Muzaffargarh and it will reach Multan Cantt on the same night at 10.30pm.
The fifth train will depart from Multan Cantt on June 19 will reach its destination on the same night at 10.15pm.

As for the fares:
The first special train (economy class) will cost Rs 1480 from Karachi to Malkwal, and Rs 1860 for Karachi to Peshawar route.
The second special train from from Quetta to Rawalpindi will cost Rs 1540 for economy class, Rs 3550 for AC Standard and Rs 4420 for and Business class.
The third special train (economy class) will cost Rs 1430 from Karachi to Lahore.
The fourth special train (economy class) will cost Rs 980 from Rawalpindi to Multan.
The fifth special train (economy class will cost Rs 980) from Multan to Rawalpindi.

Additionally, extra coaches will also be attached to other trains to accommodate maximum passengers.

This eight day Eid special operation will be started from tomorrow, June 12.
