Road mishap claims lives of 11 people in Sheikhupura
10 injured people were said to be in critical condition
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – At least 11 people were killed and several others sustained injuries in a road mishap in Sheikhupura on Thursday.
As per the details, the ill-fated incident took place in Sheikhupura’s Tehsil Safdarabad when an overload and over-speeding bus turned turtle killing 11 people on the spot and wounding 40 others.
Eight people were killed while 25 others were injured when a bus turned turtle near Sangla Hill, Nankana Sahib on Thursday.
The bus was heading towards Lahore from Sangla Hill when the accident occurred.
The deceased and injured were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities and medical assistance.
The 10 injured people were said to be in critical condition.
