PM Abbasi accepts Turkish PM's invitation to participate in OIC Summit
He thanked Turkey for its timely initiative
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday accepted the invitation extended to him by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim for participation in the extraordinary session of the OIC convened by Turkey on Friday (May 18), on the situation arising out from the massacre of innocent Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces.
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim telephoned Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and extended invitation for participation in the Extraordinary Session of the OIC on May 18.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Abbasi stringly condemned the actions taken by occupying forces and reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity and support for the peaceful struggle of the people of Palestine for their homeland.
He further thanked Turkey for its timely initiative and confirmed his participation in the extraordinary session of the OIC Summit being hosted by Turkey.
