One policeman martyred, 12 injured in Bannu IED blast
According to details, the blast occurred at general bus stand.
BANNU (Dunya News) – At least one policeman was martyred and 12 sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast near a police van in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district.
According to details, the blast occurred at a general bus stand and also damaged three vehicles including a police van and other vehicles parked in the area.

Three policemen were also among the injured and were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital for medical treatment.
Police says that the bomb was planted in a motorcycle parked near Kohat Chowrangi and targeted the police van that was on patrol. The crime scene was sealed and further investigation has been initiated.

Police also begun a search operation in the area after the attack however; neither any arrest has been made yet nor any group has claimed responsibility.
