Imran Khan again demands government to make Raja Zafarul Haq committees report public

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The spiritual leader of Golra Sharif Pir Nizamuddin Jami on Wednesday announced support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

PTI chairman Imran Khan met Pir Nizamuddin Jami and discussed support in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking on the occasion, the spiritual leader assured Imran Khan of full support and said that the devotees of his party will vote for PTI.

He said that a delegation of Ulemas will meet the PTI chairman in the next couple of days.

Later talking to media, Imran Khan again demanded the government to make Raja Zafarul Haq committee’s report public.

Earlier, in a major boost to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) election campaign, all members of Southern Punjab Province Front (SPPF) had joined ranks of Imran Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Khusro Bakhtiar stated that they had no other option apart from joining PTI. “Ostensibly, PPP and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) do not seem serious in making new province out of southern area of Punjab”, claimed Bakhtiar.

On April-10, a group of defectors—comprising eight lawmakers from both National Assembly and Punjab Assembly—parted ways with Nawaz Sharif-led PML-N while accusing party of deliberately ignoring masses of southern Punjab.

The disgruntled members announced that former interim prime minister Balakh Sher Mazari would lead the SPFF movement.
