RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least three people, including a woman, were killed and several other sustained injuries in a road accident near Rawalpindi on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a speeding van going to Rawalpindi from Gujrat skidded off the road in Majeed More area of Gujar Khan at the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) and hit a tree, killing three people on the spot and wounding several others.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after the accident and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
