Order must have come from 'above', Maryam on Imran's acquittal
Maryam Nawaz said that the 'order must have come from above' to question about Khan's acquittal.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Remarking on the acquittal of Imran Khan in Asmatullah Junejo torture case, Maryam Nawaz said that the order must have come from above.
Maryam Nawaz was posed the question outside the Accountability Court, where hearings are being conducted in Avenfield Reference case, to which she replied outrightly that order must have come from above.
Both Nawaz Sharif and Maryam have previoulsy criticised the judiciary for being lenient towards Imran Khan and strict on them.
