Rana Qasim Noon, Rana Afzal trade barbs in NA
Rana Afzal walked out of the meeting
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Privilege Chairman Rana Qasim Noon and State Minister Rana Afzal Tuesday traded barbs over a privilege resolution against former Faisalabad DCO Noorul Amin Mengal.
During the proceedings of the committee, Rana Qasim disposed of the resolution against the DCO, saying that the former DCO had sought an apology.
However, Rana Afzal protested against the decision. “You will blemish yourself by doing so,” he said while referring to Rana Qasim.
At this, Rana Qasim got infuriated and both of them exchanged harsh words. Rana Qasim event threatened to expel the state minister out of the meeting.
Later, Rana Afzal walked out of the meeting.
