Summary CJP said reforms were inevitable.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar on Wednesday termed judicial reforms in the country inevitable and termed exasperation over delay in hearings of cases across Pakistan.
“All judges including me are responsible for delay in cases. We are not the legislators and hence, are unable to craft legislation albeit the authority to make reforms falls in our jurisdiction”, stated CJP.
CJP said it was deplorable that plaintiffs had to wait for as much as 30 years for verdicts in the case.
