Former minister Ch Nisar said that he does not maintain same contact with Nawaz like it used to be.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Saturday that he would decide in the coming week which paltform he would contest upcoming General Elections 2018 from.

Nisar’s statement came today as continuation of his criticism on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) that he has been vocal about in the recent past.

He professed that he does not share as strong contact with PML-N founder Nawaz Sharif as it was used to be. However, he said that he wishes to continue his affliation with federally ruling PML-N.

Chaudhry Nisar said that PML-N is not supposed to take a decision about issuing a ticket to him for forthcoming polls but the decision lies with him. While talking about meeting of Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, Nisar said that it was meant to lessen friction among institutions.

The former federal minister feared during an interview with a private television channel that Punjab chief minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif would not be given mandate to work.

While talking about his terms with opposition party’s leader Imran Khan, Chaudhry Nisar said that he has no contact with the lawmaker for the past three years.

He further said that he has been a friend to Imran Khan on a personal level and shares nothing politically.
