Lahore: Ex-MPA Yasmin Hameed found dead in her house

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Body of former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Yasmin Hameed recovered from her house in Lahore’s South Cantt area today (Saturday).

Getting information about the incident, the security personnel arrived at the scene and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.

Dunya News has obtained CCTV footage of the politician entering her house for the last time on March 19. The slain was seen closing the main gate after coming out of a red car.

Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched.  

Earlier, some unidentified gunmen had opened fire and shot dead Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) councillor Anis Siddiqui in Orangi Town area of Karachi.

Anis Siddiqui was sitting in the drawing room of his house situated in Bangash Colony in Orangi town when assailants sprayed bullets at him through a window, killing him on the spot.

An MQM-P spokesperson informed media that the deceased belonged to MQM-P. His body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post mortem.
