Deedar Hussain likely to be reappointed NAB chairman

The government has decided to reappoint Deedar Hussain as NAB chairman.

Earlier, a three-member Supreme Court bench, chaired by Justice Javaid Iqbal, ordered the NAB chairman to leave his office immediately, besides ordering the government to appoint a new chairman in his place. Deedar’s appointment was challenged in the Supreme Court by opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry, Nisar Ali Khan, and a freelance journalist Shahid Orakzai.On the other hand, according to reliable sources that the government has decided to appoint Deedar Hussain as NAB chairman again. While the President’s spokes person refused to comment regarding the issue.
