An enquiry officer has summoned DG FIA on 11 March to record his statement.

As per details, DG FIA has given a statement regarding Khanani and Kalia money laundering case.The Supreme Court on Monday took notice of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General (DG) Waseem Ahmed’s statement and ordered judicial probe into allegations against Banking Court judge.The CJP observed that no explanation had been given that at what level corruption had been committed and who was involved in it, but the allegations levelled against the Banking Court judge were serious, therefore, a transparent enquiry should be conducted.
