No one held accountable for secretly changing Khatm-e-Nabuwwat oath: Imran Khan

The one caught in Panama Papers case is now seeking foreign assistance, Said Imran Khan.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secretly changed oath related to Khatm-e-Nabuwwat (PBUH).

Addressing a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore, Imran Khan said that a committee was formed by the incumbent government when the mistake was surfaced, however, the culprit has not yet been held accountable for this sin.

Lashing out at ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said that the one caught in Panama Papers case is now seeking foreign assistance. These are the people who are damaging country’s reputation to safe themselves, he added.

PTI Chief said that Nawaz Sharif met Indian PM Nerendra Modi during his tenure, which no one knew.

Talking on Dawn Leaks, PTI chief said that the article was having such statements that usually India gives against Pakistan Army.

The nation is waiting for the report of Zafar-ul-Haq, he reiterated. 


NA approves to Khatm-i-Naboowat in original form


On October 6, National Assembly (NA) had unanimously approved oath related to Khatm-i-Naboowat in its original form after Speaker Ayaz Sadiq ordered to rectify  clerical mistake .

In the form-A, the words “I solemnly swear” were replaced with “I believe” and the clause relating to Khatm-i-Naboowat is not made applicable to non-Muslim candidates.

Former Law Minister Zahid Hamid said the declaration contained in the nominations papers has been restored in its original form through the amendment in the Act. He clarified that nobody can think of impacting in any manner the provision regarding the finality of prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

He also denied allegation pertaining to deliberately amending the oath.


MPAs resignations


The disgruntled PML-N leaders submitted their resignations to custodian of Dargah Sial Sharif, Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi.

At least two Members of Nationa Assembly (MNAs), three Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs), local government representatives and party officials tendered their resignation in the conference.


2018 is  Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Year 


Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf had declared that the year 2018 will be called Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Year.

He said that Quran and Hadith are the only way of guidance for Muslim Ummah and the Muslims can fulfill their responsibilities by following guidelines of these two sources, according to Radio Pakistan.
