(Dunya News) – Throughout history there have been voices that have been impossible to ignore. One such voice is that of Faiz Ahmed Faiz that, even over 100 years later, echoes as loud as it did during his time.
A poet who inspired people through his poetry and celebrated revolutionary ideas, Faiz not only spoke about the society but his poems were also well known for their romanticism.
On his 107th birthday, Faiz is alive through his poetry, which will never be forgotten not just in Pakistan but across the world.

One of the most celebrated Pakistani poets and writers, Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s tireless work towards political ideology and poetry has remained immortal through his work.
Born in a small village of Narowal on Feburary 13, 1911, Faiz became one of the few poets of his time who moved people through his poetry of love and revolution.

According to Dr. Arifa Shehzad, Faiz’s poetry has not only inspired people of his generation but is still inspiring people in current times.
Known as one of the legendary poets of Pakistan, Faiz was imprisoned for his outspoken ideologies, and was in self-exile for many years.
Faiz Ahmed Faiz will live through his poetry and his work towards arts and literature in Pakistan for times to come.
