CTD probing Intezar murder case made the revelation in the report which will be submitted to court
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) report in Intezar murder case claimed that police SSP was involved in saving Muqadas Haider who is one of the major suspects accused of murder.
CTD has prepared the concise report that will be submitted to the court. It declares police officials Bilal and Daniyal responsible for the murder of Intezar.
The law enforcement department was tasked to prepare the report regarding police shootout in the Defence area on January 13 which resulted in murder of Intezar. CTD sources said police deliberately murdered the young boy.
CTD held policemen Bilal and Daniyal directly responsible for the murder of Intezar. The report in Intezar murder case mentions that no evidence was obtained to prove the involvement of SSP Muqadas Haider in either planning or execution of murder.
The officials told that they will submit the investigation report to court within next two days. The court will decide to name suspects while Intezar’s father Ishtiaq Ahmed claimed that police erased evidence in the murder. He complained that new JIT to probe the case is yet to be formed.
Ahmed added that Haider’s niece Mahrukh was a friend of his son. “I had sent Intezar to Malaysia when Haider’s brother threatened me over phone,” he said.
He announced hunger strike in demand of justice.
