Zainab murder case: Two police held for leaking confession video of Imran Ali
A case was lodged against two cops under Section-155 of Police Order 2002.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Authorities have held two police on Friday for allegedly leaking confession of suspect named Imran Ali in Zainab murder case to the people against the law.
Suspect Ali’s confession video was broadcast on national television channels two days ago after he was kept at Model Town police station following arrest in Kasur.
A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe the case pointed out that the confession video was leaked by police personnel.
Sources privy to Punjab Police reported that a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against CIA personnel Shafeeq and ASI Muhammad Akram serving at Model Town police station.
The case was lodged under Section-155 of Police Order 2002.
