Road accidents claim four lives in Quetta, Multan

According to rescue sources, the mishap happened due to over speeding.

QUETTA / MULTAN (Dunya News) – Atleast four people lost their lives in separate road accidents in Quetta and Multan on Monday.

A minor boy was killed in a collision between a coach and a car on Quetta’s airport road. According to rescue sources, the mishap happened due to over speeding and claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy and injured a man.

Both of them were shifted to civil hospital where the dead body was handed over to the relatives after necessary procedure. The minor boy has been identified as Habib-ur-Rehman. Police say that the car hit the coach from behind that caused the accident.

On the other hand, at least three women were killed and one man was wounded when a trailer hit a motorcycle on Multan’s Vehari Road.



The females were riding on the motorcycle with the man and died on the spot. They have been identified as Haseena, Shaheena and Tasleem. The injured man Yaqoob was shifted to Nishtar hospital after first aid.



Police arrived at the scene and confiscated the trailer however; the driver managed to escape from the crime scene.
