Gujranwala: Children fight back against illegal occupation of their school

(Dunya News) – A government school in Gujranwala became a target of land mafia but not for long as students of that school took it on themselves to ensure they fight back and kick out the illegal occupants.

Baghbanpura, a location in Gujranwala, witnessed amazing scenes as the entire population of the school forced out a land grabbing mafia living inside the premises of their school.

The children of Government Jinnah Memorial Muslim High School Gujranwala when arrived to take their classes saw that the gates of their school had been locked. Later they were told that there will be no more school.

The angry students protested and started removing the items belonging to land mafia out of their school. A huge number of school boys protested saying that no one could take their school away from them.

Police were called as soon as the incident was reported. Assistant Commissioner and education officers also arrived on the protest scene. Two people have been arrested in connection with illegal occupation and are undergoing an investigation.
