In pictures: Benazir Bhutto's 10th death anniversary

(Web Desk) – The tenth death anniversary of former prime minister and former head of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Benazir Bhutto was observed on Wednesday.

In December of 2007, the first female prime minister of the Muslim world, Benazir Bhutto was assassinated during a terrorist attack. Commemorating her 10th death anniversary, the Pakistan Peoples Party organised a ceremony at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

While the venue and adjoining areas had been decorated with party flags and posters of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, political workers, party members and leaders from all corners of the country made their way to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. Prayers were also offered for the former PM in various cities across Pakistan.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto delivered addresses during the gathering at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Wednesday.
