LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said on Wednesday that political opponents of former president Asif Ali Zardari can talk about Ayyan Ali’s issue all they want to but Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would not dwell into Punjab chief minister’s (CM) affairs.
In a media interaction today, Kaira responded to the criticism on PPP co-chairman however, he said that PPP would not respond to the federally ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the same fashion.
Kaira said that the top court of the country has declared PML-N president Nawaz Sharif a ‘dacoit’ and the entire former first family of Pakistan is going to be nabbed for alleged corruption soon.
PPP leader said that inefficient policies of the government have pushed Pakistan further into debts owing to weakening Rupee against United States (US) Dollar. Kaira demanded the federal government to appoint a fresh finance minister replacing Ishaq Dar who was declared a proclaimed offender earlier this week by an accountability court.
Kaira said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri did not demand anything beyond and out of the his legal rights and PPP would stand by the protesting party to bring perpetrators of Model Town incident to justice.
