Rana Sanaullah speaks in favour of lawyers' vandalism in Multan session court

Sanaullah says that the government will hold negotiations with the protesting lawyers till evening.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sananullah on Wednesday while speaking ion favour of the lawyers’ vandalism in Multan session court said that they have the right to protest for their demands.

Speaking to Dunya News, Sanaullah maintained that if the lawyers have protested for the attainment of their rights, it should not come as a surprise to the people.

He said that no one was interested in addressing the concerns held by the lawyers but their voice will be heard now through this way.
The law minister asserted that the government will hold negotiations with the protesting lawyers till evening.


Lawyers vandalise session court


Infuriated lawyers in Multan vandalised and ransacked the session court premises demanding to provide them facilities at the newly constructed Judicial Complex.

The protesters broke the window and door panes with sticks and also damaged the furniture.

The lawyers, including females, staged protest and chanted slogans against the authorities, saying that the courts have been shifted to new Judicial Complex but lack facilities.

On the other hand, the police personnel did not react to the sabotage and played the role of a silent spectator.
