Multan: Enraged lawyers vandalise session court, demand to provide facilities
Barrister Ali Zafar said that he doesn't support the way lawyers are registering their protest.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – The enraged lawyers on Wednesday barged into session court in Multan and vandalized it, demanding to provide them facilities at Judicial Complex.
The lawyers, including females, staged protest and also chanted slogans against the authorities, saying that the courts were shifted to new Judicial Complex but there are no facilities.
Responding on the situation, Barrister Ali Zafar said that he doesn’t support the way lawyers are registering their protest. It’s not the right way for lawyers to put forward their demands, he added.
Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said how can we condemn lawyers’ protest as staging sit-in has become a trend in Pakistan. He said lawyers have all the right to hold protest for their demands like others do.
