'Minorities in Pakistan enjoy complete religious freedom'
Sindh Governor says Christian community, like other minorities play role in Pakistans development.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Governor Zubair Ahmed has said that all minorities, including Christian community, were enjoying complete religious freedom and Protection in Pakistan.
This he stated while addressing a ceremony held in honour of Christian community at the Governor House Karachi on Sunday in connection with forthcoming Christmas.
Zubair Ahmed said that Christian community, like all the other minorities, is playing its role in the progress and development of Pakistan.
He said that the representatives of minorities in the Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies take part in legislation for the welfare of their community.
Zubair Ahmed also cut the cake during the ceremony and distributed presents among the participants. Federal Minister for Statistics Kamran Michael was also present on the occasion.
