Boy shot dead over minor road dispute in Karachi

The incident occurred in Seaview area of Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An 18-year-old boy identified as Zafir has on Sunday been shot dead by armed persons after a minor road collision in Karachi.

According to details, four friends were passing through Seaview area when their car hit a heavy bike. The car passengers tried to escape the scene but were followed by a double-cabin vehicle that accompanied the bike.



The armed men in the vehicle opened fire at the car after chasing it which killed one and injured another. Zafir, son of a private bank manager, was resident of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and a first-year student in DHA College. The injured person is named Zayed.

Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal has taken notice of the incident and summoned report from Karachi-South DIG. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for South Javed Akbar Riaz has said that police are searching the culprits but have not succeeded yet. Police are also acquiring CCTV footages to trace the responsible persons.
