Summary Change in law has taken place with connivance of opposition.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News)- It has been learnt that both government and opposition—as per Elections Bill 2017— have slashed financial statement’s column which compelled them to declare assets as per existing price.
The aforementioned infringement in law has taken place with connivance of opposition’s lawmakers.
As per new law, lawmakers are not compelled anymore to declare the existing price of their assets.
Likewise, this law has also curbed jurisdiction of Election Commission of Pakistan as the later can’t make changes in the form.
