Summary Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would establish a 'new Pakistan': Kaira
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Former information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said on Monday that former premier Nawaz Sharif wants to derail democratic setup in Pakistan.
Kaira addressed a workers’ convention in Gujranwala and during his speech, the former minister said that finance minister of Pakistan is admitted in a London hospital for reasons unknown.
He criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) by saying that a political party which does not adhere to the ideology of Pakistan cannot establish a ‘new Pakistan’.
He asserted that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would establish a ‘new Pakistan’.
Kaira demanded off Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif to have the federal government, led by his party, issue red warrant of former army chief Pervez Musharraf instead of complaining about his impunity.
The former federal minister said that cases against Nawaz Sharif were not lodged during tenure of Musharraf but during his government.
Kaira claimed that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified as premier of Pakistan for lying to the nation and not over foreign residence permit. He further said that it took Nawaz Sharif disqualification as premier to realise the importance of democratic setup.
