Balochistan Assembly members protest as bonus announced by CM delayed
Employees of the assembly staged a sit-in at the gate Balochistan Assembly
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Employees of Balochistan Assembly protested on Wednesday as a bonus package announced by Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri is yet to have its release order some five months after it was announced.
The protesting members locked the assembly hall as well as the housing facility while all official work was halted. The development has come in today after the chief minister had announced a bonus package for the workers before he concluded his budget speech this fiscal year.
Employees of the assembly staged a sit-in at the gate Balochistan Assembly. President of Balochistan Assembly and MPAs Hostel Staff Association warned that the sit-in would continue until the release order is issued.
