Summary PPP chairperson says Nawaz exposed his anti-democracy agenda by declaring verdict as judge's malice
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has on Wednesday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had exposed his agenda by declaring the verdict by Supreme Court as judge’s malice towards him, reported Dunya News.
In a statement, Asif Zardari said that Nawaz Sharif was playing a ‘double game’ with the nation as on one side he was getting his party members to issue statements against Zardari while on the other sent him messages for a meeting. He said that he would never become a part of this conspiracy against democracy.
Zardari said that by declaring the verdict as judge’s malice, Nawaz had proved that meeting or cooperating with him would be tantamount to be a part of a conspiracy against the country.
The former president said that Nawaz Sharif considered himself above the law and accountability. “He pitched his ministers against the army and made personal attacks on the judges. He said that Nawaz wanted to sabotage the democratic system to become a political martyr. He added that PPP will release a charge sheet against Nawaz Sharif’s anti-democracy actions.

While referring to detailed verdict of Supreme Court in Panama Papers case, Sharif said that these judges have been overwhelmed by animosity and same has trespassed on their words. He further stated that the acrimony of judges would become part of black chapter of country’s history.
The court, after rejecting Sharif’s plea, indicted him in person in the three corruption references against him and adjourned hearing till November 15.
