ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders on Wednesday said that those who exploited the constitution of Pakistan are roaming free whereas a political case is being fought against Sharif family.
Talking to media, State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan an atomic power while the public voted in his favour thrice and nominated him as Prime Minister.
She maintained that Nawaz Sharif is appearing before the courts in reverence of the constitution however; no one question those who attacked parliament and judiciary.
Minister for Privatisation Daniyal Aziz reiterated that Nawaz Sharif is being subjected to political revenge. He slammed Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen and said that court is unable to summon SECP report in their disqualification case.
“If the court summons the report, it will be obvious then who is Sadiq and Ameen,” he said.
Aziz said three judges had remarked that the case cannot be made on false statements while the UK government is also saying the same however; investigating teams are still being sent again and again.
PML-N leaders criticized the court’s verdict and expressed resentment over mentioning Sicilian mafia, Godfather and poetry.
