Summary “Sharif family ranting despite 'VIP accountability', NAB must adopt same standards for both”

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari has on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was the biggest hurdle in the way of change, reported Dunya News.

In a statement, Zardari said that Sharif family was crying even over ‘VIP accountability’. He said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should have same standards for everyone. He added that Sharif family was trying to get away with accountability by giving an impression of discord within. He added that Sharif family’s corruption will be exposed further in the days to come.

“Country is in the clutches of debt today because of the Nawaz government and even Shehbaz Sharif’s claims of good governance stood exposed now. The people of Pakistan will not be fooled by the Sharif family now”, he said.

Zardari added that the opposition had been damaged the most by Imran Khan’s solo flight and Nawaz Sharif has benefited the most from it. “The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were devoid of basic facilities while Imran Khan made claims of change”, he said.

The former president said that he had fought victimization with great courage during the three tenures of Nawaz Sharif in power and came out clean in the courts. He said that PPP will emerge victorious in all four provinces in the coming election.
