LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan has on Sunday said that his party would stand with the deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif if his family provides the money trail of his businesses and properties abroad, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media in Lahore, Aitzaz said that his party would stand with the Sharif family if they provided the money trail and still faced persecution. He said that Nawaz was locked up in this legal battle and now wanted to get out of it breaking the wall, and for that purpose he was trying to collide with the courts.
“If Nawaz Sharif says that he is being conspired against, then he should name the conspirators”, Aitzaz said. He added that if Sharif family faced indiscriminate accountability and they provide the money trail then PPP would be standing with them.
“But if you want to scare the courts away then we won’t let that happen”, he said.
