Summary Punjab CM has prolonged his stay abroad in the midst of ongoing political tensions in the country
LONDON (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi met Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif in London to discuss political matters and party-related issues for a second consecutive time in a short span.
While the last meeting also included ex-PM Nawaz Sharif, this one excluded him for his absence this time around to appear before accountability court in corruption charges. The two met to discuss topics related to ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif has prolonged his stay in London by two weeks after the undergoing of second chemotherapy of his sister-in-law Kulsoon Nawaz. PM Abbasi will deliver a lecture in London School of Economics during his visit abroad.
It should be mentioned that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was been admitted to a hospital in West London, and is likely to undergo angioplasty for heart treatment. According to details, Ishaq Dar visited the hospital three times last week for his detailed checkups, and also underwent angiography once.
