Ishaq Dar admitted to hospital, likely to undergo angioplasty
Doctors have asked the finance minister to prolong his stay in London for treatment.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has been admitted to a hospital in West London, and is likely to undergo angioplasty for heart treatment.
According to details, Ishaq Dar visited the hospital three times last week for his detailed checkups, and also underwent angiography once.
Sources further revealed that doctors have asked the finance minister to prolong his stay in London for the sake of treatment on priority basis.
Ishaq Dar’s son Ali Dar is also in London along with the rest of the family. Ali Dar’s wife, Asma, is in London as well to look after her mother Kulsoom Nawaz who is undergoing treatment for throat cancer.
