Lahore: Two students killed as speeding car overturns
Two people were killed in road accident in Sato Katla area of Lahore on Wednesday night.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - At least two students of a private university were killed and another sustained wounds when the car they were travelling in overturned after hitting a poll in Sato Katla area of Lahore on Wednesday night.
According to eye-witnesses, the car hit a roadside poll due to over-speeding and turned turtle, killing the two boys on the spot. The car was completely destroyed in the accident.
Rescue teams reached the spot and used electric cutter to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage. The deceased were identified as Ahmed Farooq and Umair Shaukat. The injured student, Hasnain, was shifted to a private hospital in critical condition.
