(Web Desk) – With Pakistan Cricket Team all set to play Sri Lanka in the final T20 match, preparations are under way at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for Sunday when Sri Lanka will become the first major cricket team to visit Pakistan since they were targeted in a deadly ambush in 2009 - with attack survivors among those returning to the scene.
While hundreds of thousands of security personnel have been deployed for the security of the premises along with air surveillance of the area, Chairman PCB Najam Sethi has labeled the T20 match a “historic moment” in the revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
