FIA not to arrest Moonis Elahi

FIA officials have confirmed that the agency will not arrest former Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahis son Moonis Elahi involved in NICL corruption case on his return to Pakistan.

According to the officials, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has granted protective bail to Moonis Elahi involved in NICL corruption case, therefore the agency will follow the court orders.Earlier, Moonis Elahi had filed a petition in SHC seeking a protective bail so that he can present before the investigation team to clear his position after his return to the country from Malaysia. The court has granted 3-week protective bail to Moonis Elahi. He informed the court that all cases against him are baseless and he was not involved in any corruption.
