ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari called on leaders belonging to Federally Administered Tribal Areas in the federal capital on Tuesday (October 3rd) to block opposition leader replacement bid of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the National Assembly.
Sources have reported that the FATA leaders have assured Zardari of their support to not let Khurshid Shah be replaced by Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The meeting was attended by Bilal Rehman, Shah Gul Afridi, Nasir Khan and Haji Bismillah Khan.
The former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party was joine by Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, senator Farhatullah Babar, senator Sardar Ali Khan and senator dr Qayyum Soomro among others.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders met with chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Dr Farooq Sattar in Karachi who pledged his support to the bid.
