LAHORE (Dunya News) – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of the ex-premier who was ousted in a corruption probe has said on Saturday that Nawaz Sharif is Saadiq as well as Ameen irrespective of the top court’s verdict.
Maryam defended her father in an interview with a private television and said that Dawn Leaks report should be made public and that it was a non-issue.
She said that her father is righteous as well as honest irrespective of the top court’s order.
Maryam said that to run a social media cell was her right and that she was alleged of participating in a security meeting which was baseless. The PML-N leader said that Dawn Leaks was a pressure tactic against her father.
While talking about Panama Leaks, she said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified over a residence permit despite the fact that he had the mandate of the people and had assumed power as the government with crores of votes.
However, Maryam claimed that Nawaz Sharif and his politics did not suffer of the verdict in Panama case.
