LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah reacted to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Mall Road protest calling it Tahir-ul-Qadri’s political show.
He reaffirmed that Model Town massacre report by Justice Baqir Najfi was submitted in court and will be made public upon the orders of case bench. Talking to Dunya News programme Nuqta-e-Nazr, he claimed Qadri himself was responsible for the scuffle of PAT workers with Punjab police officials who came to move away barriers.
Decision will be made according to law, he said while pointing out that PAT has staged a protest at one end while their case is pending in court. Rana Sana opined that PAT will continue their political show till 2018 elections while the decision of Model Town incident will be ruled by court.
PML-N leader refuted to the claims made by PAT chief and demanded him to bring proof. He claimed only a few of the victims are present in the protest and Qadri should bring evidence of threats.
