Summary Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting of PTI leaders over Panama case hearing today
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan held a high-level meeting of senior party leaders over Panama case hearing today.
According to sources, he said that the objections of Sharif family over Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report were based on assumptions alone and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had nothing to say in his defence.
He said, “Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif cannot save themselves from ineligibility”. Imran Khan accused the Sharif family of lying ahead of the Supreme Court and JIT, and called their documents forged.
Moreover, the legal team briefed PTI Chief over the proceeding and future plans at Bani Gala residence. The party leaders and spokespersons were also briefed about the stance on Panama case.
PM said in his objections that the JIT members misused their authority, volume-10 wasn t made public, and also, questioned the presence of ISI representative in the team.
