Lahore: Transporters fined for overcharging
Motorway Police have slapped fine on transporters for overcharging from passengers.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, DSP Motorway along with his team conducted an operation in Manga mandi area of Lahore on Wednesday on the directives issued by IG Motorway Police Shaukat Hayat and fined the transporters for overcharging from the passengers.
The passengers who are eager to travel to celebrate Eid with their families expressed satisfaction over the Motorway Police timely action and saving them from paying extra fares to reach their destinations.
Speaking on the occasion, Motorway Police admin officer Shaukat Ali Changaizi asked the passengers to use helpline 130 in case the transporters demand extra fares.
