SECP chief requests SC to take notice of alleged WhatsApp call
All the details would come out once complete investigations are made into the matter
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) chief Zafar Hijazi has requested the Supreme Court to take notice of the alleged WhatsApp call that he received.
Zafar Hijazi was of the opinion that the all the details would come out once complete investigations into the matter are made.
The chairman revealed in his reply submitted to the Supreme Court that he had been accused of framing JIT and Registrar Supreme Court in the matter.
Zafar Hijazi was of the opinion that he absolutely have no idea as to whether the registrar of Supreme Court or any other person made that call.
He also cleared out that the registrar of Supreme Court had no jurisdiction in the appointment of JIT members.
Chairman SECP professed that in the absence of any inquiry, the Supreme Court is liable to take notice of the alleged matter of WhatsApp call.
