Lahore: 23 detained in crackdown against kite flyers
Lahore police arrested 23 kite flyers on Sunday and confiscated dozens of kites and spools of string
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 23 people were taken into custody during police crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore on Sunday.
The crackdown against kite flyers was launched against kite flyers on the directives issues by DIG Operations Dr Ashraf Haider.
Police carried out operation in different areas of the city and detained 23 kite flyers. At least 57 kites and spools of string were also seized. Police have also registered 21 cases against accused in different police stations of the city.
